Adding a Key to a 2000 Ford F-150. 4C Chip. Locksmith Chronicles

Task:

Add a new key with a 4C transponder chip.

Work:

There was no power at the OBD port or the cigarette lighter socket.

Both circuits are typically protected by the same fuse.

Additional power had to be supplied in order to perform the key programming.

The key was then successfully added.
